    Can you elaborate on this, while I am not fussed with my username being shown I am interested in knowing how to do it for future purposes.
    I am currently redirecting people through a 301'd .com.

    Hi,

    You can use any link cloaking software or service (such as tinyurl) OR you can use an HTML/PHP redirect option.

    We, for instance, offer an in-house cloaking script which our affiliates can use to not only hide their Clickbank ID, but to completely reconstruct their link among many other options.

    You cant really hide it completely though because someone only has to click on the link then navigate to the clickbank orderform and they will see your username at the bottom.

    True but most non-marketers do not know this.

    As has been said above, you can use a free url shortner, 301 re-directs or a php re-direct.

    Here is how you'd use the latter:

    1. You will need to own a domain. However you can use this single domain to re-direct an unlimited number of products. Let's say your domain is called abcnews.com

    2. Go to the clickbank marketplace, find the product you want to promote, click promote and you'll get your encripted affiliate link that looks like this:

    http://123456789.hop.clickbank.net/

    Copy this to your clipboard

    3. open a blank php file (I personally use dreamweaver, but you can use any web editing software).

    4. write the following in it

    Code:
    <?php
    header("Location: PASTE YOUR AFFILIATE LINK HERE");
    ?>
    i.e. it will look like this:

    Code:
    <?php
    header("Location: http://123456789.hop.clickbank.net/");
    ?>

    5. save this file using a relevant name. If you are promoting a product that will help grow a longer nose, name it something like grow-nose. Since it is a php file, the full name will be grow-nose.php

    6. Upload this to your domain. If your domain is abcnews.com, then this file would be locoated at http://abcnews.com/grow-nose.php

    7. Use this link to promote your product :)

    Create the link in the CB marketplace not off the vendors link. It will hide the username.

    Because the real solution lies on building your own landing page and use direct link to the checkout. But you have to ask for permission.

    In addition, once some one is checking out on clickbank it will show the username of the referral.

    You can't hide it. It will show in the bottom of the order page anyway. If not shown, your sale will not count.

    Hey! Instead of trying to hide it, why not create a new username that makes it seem like it is auto generated by the sales page itself ? If you are not in the internet marketing niche, most of them wouldn't have a clue anyway.

    Use usernames like index01, siterefresh, etc, and you would save yourself a lot of hassle. Even just 123456789 would probably work well too.
