One of the groups that I manage was premiered on their local radio station 8 days go. They landed in the Top 6 most requested songs of the day. We stayed there multiple days, but started slipping so I came up with this idea to get more requests.
My Goal was low cpc, high impressions, BAD ctr.
First I targeted only the radio stations fans (7500)
As there's a good chance they've heard the song over the past few days or seen mention on their wall.
I then created an ad with a call to action "Call To Request SongName"
I then included the phone number directly in the ad.
Nothing to entice them to click.
Since it was targeted, and people prefer to call in requests, vs using the online form I receive VERY little clicks on the ad, but people are still calling to request. So Far I'm over 16,000 impressions for under $1. The lowest CPM rate for this amount is $2.08
