I've got a few websites set up, all SEO optimized and have done some basic backlinking. This included some video uploads. I found someone I could hire to do some deep article spinning and was about to buy ZennoPoster. I estimated 2-3 months of work and about $1k spent on software and wages.
Then I read about the recent Panda slaps. Asked myself if it's really worth it. So I started brainstorming alternatives to Google and, whilst browsing the statistics of one of my sites, found I was already receiving traffic from YouTube!
Here's what I did:
-Used Mass Video Blaster to download videos related to my niche.
-Edited the description to include a "To find out more, check out: http://www.site.com" and an empty line below
-Used the video editing settings to add a watermark with the URL and selected the pixel spinning option
-Uploaded.
I did this for about 16 videos across 3 accounts and I'm currently getting just under 50 UVs per day. It's not a lot, but it's very, very scalable.
My head is spinning just thinking about the possibility of uploading hundreds of videos across dozens of accounts. Multiply by the number of websites? And I don't even have to worry about originality of content or duplicate penalty issues. Or backlinking or panda slaps.
What I'm going to do now is create 10 authority websites using exclusively scraped content. The focus being on choosing content that is high quality, relevant, and something that people are likely to return to. Not gonna write a single unique word myself. Not going to backlink anything.
Then upload a few hundred spun videos for each -> a few thousand in total.
My search engine traffic is about 3 visitors per day, all of which looks suspiciously like scrapebox traffic... On the other hand, I'm liking the fast results from video submission. A lot.
Will keep you guys posted with the results of this project, including how well the traffic converts.
