Anyone have experience with ecommerce sites in the past few years?

Do you think Amazon has taken a lot of business from sites or do specialty sites still do as well as before if they rank high?

Kind of a speculative topic but curious what people think.

    Thanjs

Maybe when Amazon will start to pay Taxs in related countries like any others nationnal companies do, they will surely be less lucrative. Instead hidding sales behind Luxembourg for frauding with complex systems
    fuck !

Amazon has definitely had a huge impact on ecommerce sites. But that just means you have to adapt. Ecommerce sellers can now sell or dropship through Amazon.

They really are not making a lot of money. The strategy is to take over market share. It is working, and I expect price hikes when everyone else is gone.

Sucks thought cause Amazon has seller fees for every item sold and that's on top of competing down to pennies on who gets the top slot on listings.
