Lets say I rank well with a domain which is kw1kw2.com for a key phrase which is "kw1 kw2" (Domain matching keyword). How hard will it be to rank for the key phrase "kw2 kw1" with that same domain? Will it be as hard as ranking for the previous keyword? Harder?

I think it would be slightly harder to rank for KW2KW1 with KW1KW2.com but not much. You still have the keywords in your domain which we all know is very important.

You would need to make sure that KW2KW1 is optimized in your landingpage with the usual keyword density, meta tags and so on. Then you would need lots of backlinks with KW2KW1 as the anchor text.

So yeah, personally I dont think it would be too much harder, but you would need to do your reserch using market samurai or equivalent, to make sure it is worth going for.

Why not go for both, KW1KW2 domain and optimize for KW1KW2 and KW2KW1, again, its all down to KW research.

I am by no means an SEO expert so do not take this as gospel, but I believe its correct. Hope this helps.

If your ranking for the same keyword thats in your domain, should be easy if there aren't many competitors.

Type in intitle:"kw1 kw2" and see how many results there are.
If its over 20k should be a little hard.

    Also try intitle:"kw1 kw2"
    And in url:"kw1 kw2"
