Not good my friend 1,880,000 competition. You need to do some keyword research on this topic and maybe choose a slightly longer tail keyword.

Just about any keyword that only contains one word is going to be hard to rank for. But it can also be a little misleading. I would still recommend being a little more specific with your keyword.

    hey,

1,880,000 is fairly easy to beat, I have done it with 12 million before without too much difficulty, and with a competition of 15 million on MSN i am ranked 4th. And that was done with mostly onsite optimization. It is definitely doable. Especially if you have the .com domain name and if you host in Germany

Are you looking to do it whitehat or blackhat?
By that I mean, what methods are you open to? cloaked domain?
    Link spamming?

    and so on

first of all, you dont need .de for getting to the top. i am ranked #3 in germany with a .com domain. you could use german SB portals like mister-wong.de, seekxl.de or sumaxl.de ...

so .com is ok. pressemeldung isnt hard to compete with. i did harder ones. #1 site has only pr2, but it's some older than yours i guess and it's a keyword domain and i guess this guy already tries to take this niche. so get rank spot #2 or try to get better than him. his service is a bit digg.com/yigg.de like.

if many vistors come to this niche, go and get #2. if you want to work and challenge him, get #1.

    hope this might help you.
