How hard it is to outrank this kind of pages

Need to promote a couple of products which amazon has first and second spot in SERP. I see lots of pages like amazon, PR4-5 pages that have like 127000000 Domain backlinks, but the products pages backlinks (the ones in SERP I need to outrank) only have between 10 and 30.
Has for the title, url, description and header, mostly have only 1 or 2 of my keywords, usualy in description or title.

Has anyone an idea if it is possible to outrank this kind of pages, and how many time would take, more less.
My main preocupation is knowing the wheight of those loads Domain backlinks vs Page backlinks, which ones have more value to see if I would be able to outrank them with more backlinks to the specific page.

when targeting something very small and specific, and has a exact search of 1000 or less on the key word phrase you've selected, it should not take more than 3 months using IBP.

I happen to love IBP. Why? real simple, it covers all the basic setup's that I need to conform to, prior to marketing and getting inbound links. In other words, it let's me make a great foundation.

another tool you need to utilize is any of the great keyword research tools out there.

never optimise a page exceeding 3 to 5 keyword phrases ( you would be surprised that if you target 5 successfully, you'll end up with 9 or 10 that you did not think of jumping to that page also ).

Well i use market samurai when researching keywords, here is the keyword i m trying to rank with amazon in the first 2 positions.



Don't know if I m able to rank for the first positions with this one after reading what you said. I have forgoten it because has you see amazon is outranking cnet wich has a higher PR and more backlinks to the page. Don't know to how sony pages are ranking, even they are the oficial product page, they have PR0 and no backlinks and even so they can outrank other pages :|
Very confusing, would love to know if I invest time getting good backilnks I could list at least infront of sony pages.

The keyword has 1000 searches/day.
