It is known that almost ALL huge companies dodge tons of taxes with good accountants. Also they do lots of cash business behind the scenes. So all that money lost on taxes is gotta end up being covered by your average joe. What a lovely nation.

How exactly can you be losing something, which you didn't create in the first place? (Except by stealing it using threats in the lines of going to prison if you don't pay for your freedom.)

If you or I do it, it's tax evasion. If a big corporation does it, it's good corporate accounting.

I think there's a distinct difference between tax evasion and tax avoidance. Anyone can avoid taxes legally--it's just a matter of how you go about things.

So what was the point of the USA extending Bush Tax Cuts for the rich if most rich are wealthy enough to hire good accountants. Ahh lovely America being built upon the backs of the poor and middle class. Give us your poor Give us your hungry and we will tax them:)

Pretty much and most of the citizens are brainwashed by corporate media, that's why you never hear anything bad about big business and how they don't pay taxes. The best thing that can happen is getting money out of politics but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Especially not since the citizens united ruling.

A group of fat cat industrialists fought in the court system that limiting their contributions to political campaigns even.. limiting the reporting of these contributions was limiting their free speech.

The supreme court found in their favor now corporate America can donate as much as they like to political campaigns.
