Working on closing a $750 sale on Fiverr and I want to know what their dispute system is like. Any tips? I'm kinda new over there.

I do not really know their official rules, but at least if there is chances of losing money. Just send him to personal gateway payment (If it is against TOS then IDK)

Well, if you deliver what you agreed upon, there will be proof, because you're using Fiverr's system, so the buyer can't claim, that he/she didn't receive it. Just make sure that the gig description is clear what the gig consists of. This way i think on Fiverr you're pretty much covered. I can't recall any negative experience with their support, i contacted them as a buyer and as a seller too multiple times.

Although the buyer can open a dispute directly from PayPal with going behind Fiverr's back, but if i'm not mistaken, it's a bannable offense and happens rarely. What you can do is check the buyer's Fiverr acc, if he/she has anything to lose by being a seller for instance and not just a buyer, so he/she won't pull tricks more than likely. Also if you haven't yet, check the purchase history/feedbacks, if there's any. Maybe do a little background check on the buyer, social media accs etc :)

If you do an honest job and something goes sideways, Fiverr can protect you, but with PayPal it's always a gamble.

I like using PayPal to sell because of my account's age and the amount of $ that it's processed, they always treat me well (and I'm sure they treat you well too if you're using your original account). I actually haven't lost a dispute in a few years. :p
