How does this website get so much traffic?

Well i don't know if I'm allow to post link, but here it is : http://www.boardofwisdom.com/

How does this rank ? I mean the content is bad (or perhaps only me view it as bad) , there's like 6 ads per page, but they have HUGE traffic and very good ranking, is it the result of Penguin ?

Well just a quick glance the domain has age, its almost 12 years old and google has indexed 939,000 pages from this site

I guess the domain age and massive amount of pages indexed in Google helps. Now are those visitors targeted? Not sure about that.

Yeah the site is massive. If just 1% of their pages gets 10 hits per day, that is almost 100K visitors per day (93,900).
That's enough to quit your day job even if your traffic is not targeted. 2 million per month.Ahhhhh dare to dream.

Also looks like the owner is adsense premier publisher because there are more than 5 ads on the page.

Yeah, didn't quite notice the amount of pages, seems the site has huge authority with that many pages and domain age
