This is to all the content writers out there, because i'm cheap and I write my own content.

How does one enjoy writing an amazon review? I feel like it's the most brain numbing, repetitive, mind crumbling task in SEO. Sorry I take that back, interlinking is.

But seriously, how does one enjoy writing? Am I missing a big secret of the trade or something? Or is it just in ones nature to enjoy writing about products?

Or worse? Does everyone secretly hate it? Hats off to content writers though, you are all legends in my eyes if you do that for 8 hours a day.

Content writing is a skill just like other skills.

Just like chef enjoys cooking, content writer enjoys writing content.

You are finding it difficult because your core skills is different but you are writing your content to save money.

Well you have to love what you are doing man.

If you just doing for money then trust me it won't work.

But seriously, how does one enjoy writing?

Not everyone does, it’s a task of either passion or dread.

For me, I appreciate the creativity writing allows me to have which in turns allows me to enjoy it as a profession.

In many ways, my favorite being the persona-based approach.

Let’s review an example.

Boring approach:

“I’ve been buying this for my puppy for the past six months and would say it’s the best dog food you can buy.”

Fun/Creative Approach:

“As a lifelong veterinarian with four one-week old puppies at home, it’s safe to say it’s not my first litter. Having raised many pups in my time, I’ve used many different brand foods over the years; some good and some not so much.

Based on overall health and proper weight gains, I’ve itemized my list of the best dog food for puppies so you too can raise your pup to healthy adulthood.”

So, to answer your question, I enjoy writing Amazon reviews by pursuing the creative side of writing which makes the process fun and more enjoyable.

Plus too, your writing will be much more engaging which helps to increase conversions (enjoy the writing more while earning more; win win).

Personalize your content, engage while informing, and think creatively, it’ll make writing become less “repetitive” and not so “mind-numbing”.

Every job has not so enjoyable tasks, even if the job happens to be your passion. It's just part of a bigger process for you after all, which needs to be done in order to make money. I don't think, that you will ever enjoy it, if you don't like doing it. Keep reminding yourself, why it needs to be done, that might help. Or don't be so cheap :p and outsource it, if it's still profitable that way. The time you spend on something, what you don't like doing, probably is better spent on something else. Especially that hated tasks usually take longer to complete than tasks what you enjoy. It's one of the biggest cliches of all time, but time is money, at the end of the day it migh even be cheaper, if you outsource.

Life's not about enjoying everything - big misconception a lot of people have.

Sooner you move past it, the more productive you'll be, while not always trying to find things that don't feel bad, because a lot of chasing success feels bad, which is why a lot of people stop 10% of the way through it, and those who can push through things that feel bad get the rewards at the end.

Lol that video reminded me of how big wankers some dj's can be .. they act like they're sculping the fabric of the universe or something
(sidenote: I used to be a one, never acted like I was changing the world with every twist of a dial)

Like someone mentioned above, every profession has some fun and not so fun tasks involved in it.

When writers get to talk to take interviews, and at times, free products to write professional reviews, they don't really mind it as they got to try out the product. And if someone is writing hundreds of reviews for a product which he doesn't even have, he might not enjoy doing it but he would still go on thinking how he could enjoy/meet ends with the money he will get paid for writing them.

It's a creative process not many enjoy.

You'll be surprised what people would do to support their family. There is no job/task above feeding one's family.
