    Hey all,

I couldnt find the answer in searches.

FB shares feauture on most of the kw tools Ive found. It would appear those with lots of FB shares can outrank those with many backlinks.

My question is: how is it measured? Is it the amount of times your page is shared, or a post is shared, or how many individual posts with your URL attached, and is that split per person or per post?

If you know, id love to know.
    Many thanks
    Shaun

Google probably has a data contract with FB where FB gives them a high throughput channel to query URL social numbers.

    Thanks for your reply!
In real terms, which type of post does that mean we should be focusing on (or buying) specifically for ranking, do you think?
