    Hey peeps,

This week I`ve been really hitting google keyword tool hard to try and uncover that 'Jackpot' niche for my first MNS. :p

It is really difficult, I`m trying to balance a good CPC with good traffic and low competition. :eek:uch:

I`m sort of struggling, so just wondered how people went about uncovering a decent micro niche with say 1k+ local exacts and CPC above $1?

I will give rep + thanks for good advice :D

What i usually do when using the Google Keyword tool is searching for niches with a high CPC. Then i sort them on CPC (from high to low). Of course the highest CPC keywords are always the ones with a lot of competetition or very low traffic. Based on those high CPC keywords i use my common sense to think of good keywords with less competition and/or more exact traffic. Then i try some more keywords, do the same thing again till i find a niche with not that much competition, enough exact searches and a good CPC.

I think with micro niche sites you never know exactly upfront what niches are going to get you traffic and clicks. So it's all about making websites, analyze and work on the websites that bring you (the most) money. Good luck!

Oh wow, your guide has highlighted part of my problem, I thought 'Competition' meant SEO competition! I already know how to check SEO competition, so hopefully this will help me alot haha

I was obviously fed misinformation as I was told 'Competition' meant SEO competition...

    Thanks!

Any other advice still welcome :D

I come up with the ideas first, and then use tools to find out the numbers. Usually I find something relevant that makes sense based on the numbers. The ideas come from just thinking about it. I get other ideas from referral stats on existing sites and things like that. It's easier for me to work on something that comes from an idea I have rather than just something discovered in analysis, but some people are really good at just focusing on the $$$/numbers primarily and working on whatever indiscriminately.

check out sites that sale on flippa and have good adsense earnings. find a site you can easily duplicate and out rank. also make sure you check to make sure the stats are real and not fake.
