I mainly use wordpress sites and am trying to figure out the best way to track my outbound links. Anyone that uses squidoo, that is exactly what I am looking for. I don't need anything fancy, just something that tracks which links are being clicked on to exit my site. Can you do this with goo gle analytics? If you can how do you do it, I could not figure it out. Thanks for your help!

Well Squidoo allready does this for you. Click stats->Traffic at the bottom of the page under the URL heading are all the outbound links with a count.

The other way would be to use Tracking202 (Prosper202) tracking links and let Tracking202 give you the info you want. I'd let Squidoo do all the work though much easier.

I don't need tracking for squidoo, I was using that as an example of what I want for my wordpress sites. I just want a simple tracker that displays any outbound links my wordpress sites get.

There is a redirection plug in that does exactly what you want. Google "wordpress redirection plugin" and you should find it.

Sorry about that I should read the question more carefully.
You can use GA to track outbound clicks.
If you have the Google Analytics for Wordpress by Joost de Valk there is an option to track outbound clicks.

Then in GA click Content->Event Tracking.
