Lately, I've been seeing quite a few sites forcefully put their links onto other peoples' source codes to get an advantage in the search engines.

All the sites that are being "exploited" say "DotNetNuke" in their source code.

Does anyone know how this is being done?

PS. In the sticky section of the Blackhat SEO forum labeled "tab exploit" by Harro, there's a virus.

Holy cow! I am seeing thousands of exploted sites, and most of them really high authority (example: elseveir.c0ms pr6 subdomain and many more).

    This is exactly my point.

There are a LOT of high page rank websites out there being used as backlinks, and only a few underground marketers are taking advantage.

I'm not an expert in Dot Nuke, so I don't know how to put my backlinks on very big sites.

I've seen some sites with backlinks from PR 7 and PR 8, and the website is not even relevant, etc. so in other words it's NOT a link exchange, but a loophole taken advantage of.

Might be an SQL injection exploit! Otherwise known as easy hacking!

Well, then tell us how to do it. :D

Seeing this alot lately, most of them even get linked to by .gov or authority sites. Will report results of further research here ASAP.

    Salute

I think this is the method:

I just don't have the balls to do something like this.
