Google appears to have pretty stringent rules against sites that sell or promote things like alcohol, tobacco, related sites. Adwords campaigns and other useful google promotion techniques are automatically disapproved. If you run such a site, are there alternative blackhat or whitehat SEO promotion schemes that can be utilized to rank them? I'm also curious to know if there are solutions that won't put the site at risk of being banned from the serps or heavily penalized.

    Thanks.

Do you mean you want to rank sites that are in adult-niche?
Surely there are lots of ways to rank that one.

Google Adwords is not a way to rank your website.

Yea, not porn, but a site that violates the ad policy. I just want to make sure that niches disallowed by ad words aren't also penalized in the serps for being such a site.

if you were banned from Adwords, technically it won't affect to the SERP.

ok. haven't been banned yet. btw, do any payment processors come highly recommended around here for high risk products? paypal nixed us on the first sale. We didn't know the products were disallowed by their TOS.
