How do you organize your internet marketing files? As you can see from the picture below i am in need of immediate help LOL:D I just created an internet marketing folder and am thinking of having inside it a whitehat and blackhat methods folder and maybe article marketing, affiliate marketing and other broad categories along with tools. Is there any software to help organize files and folders, thanks:D:) I'm a little lazy with unpacking the compressed folders so bare with me:D Also, post a screenshot of your setup

use subfolders to categorize, my desk and everything gets messy after a short time so i some kind of format my discs to get rid of the trash i dont need/use time from time and recover my system and get my saved folders back...

but to be a little organized get a folder called

    for example

    -black hat
    --tools
    --ebooks
    --etc
    -white hat
    --tools
    --ebooks
    --etc
    -misc
    --folder1
    --folder2
    etc

depending on what you have or use...

    usually my firefox download folder

( download folder in your profile of vista for example ) gets quite spammed as well since i don't change it...

    hope that helps, cheers

    Make folders:

Zips( were you put all your .rar)
Shortcuts( were you put all your shortcuts to tool that you don't use every day)
Articles( were you put anything article related)
    Music( all your mp3's)
    etc...

    works for me...

LoL, I was the exact same way just a couple months ago. My desktop was completely full, even to the point where I could scroll a little. I finally sat down, and just started organizing stuff into folders. Deleting programs I thought I would use but never did.

My desktop still gets like that once in a while, but overall I have it under control. You just have to sit down and take the time to go through it.

This is written by an expert in organizing IM stuff and it's supposed to be good. Would be nice if someone shared it here.

Mines all pretty messy but I've got loads of fairly well categorized categories and I use excel wherever I need to keep data about projects and such.

It's 100% free and so helpful. My desktop looked like that before I changed. Trust me, this product is golden. (Haha I almost made it sound spammy didn't I?)

i think they are called folders these days. you like right click and then press new folder and you can actually make folders inside folders to organize yourself! amazing unlimited folders i wonder when they made that idea!

OMG I thought I was alone!!!! I've been there too! Like a few others said, folders. In one corner I have files and folders for critical apps, in another corner I have files and folders for website building, seo, photoshop, etc. next corner is all ebooks, notes, tutorials (all in folders), last corner is antivirus, malware, cleanup and hacks. I use the middle for downloaded stuff that needs to be dealt with and notes for to do's. I have an IM folder in my docs, and then stuff that I won't be using right away gets put into online storage.

My desktop looks just like that but with folders. But i don't think that i would have any space left if i kept zips on my desktop. Why would you keep them there after installing? Put all zips in one folder.

I feel so much better, I was shy before, i didn't want the world knowing i was a dirty desktop keeper, now thanks to you i can say this, DUDE GET A BROOM.
