Im following 300 people already after searching for 'fashion' and 'clothing' or similar but im getting alot of repeats. So how do I keep building followers now? I dont want to be searching for rnaomd unrelated niches do i?

There's plenty of users in those niches. Try searching for more specific topics relating to the niche.

Ive been testing a few things on pinterest recently and i found that i get more followers through repinning compared to following/unfollowing people. i guess the idea is to repin stuff and replace the original URL with a link to your site so that if the people repin your pin they will help to spread your link.

As mapp2819 said i think my issue was my kws were too broad. Got some more results when I narrowed it down to specific products.

I like the repin idea too Ill try that tommorow.

Are you allowed to take random images from google then link them back to your homepage.

Find a person in your niche with lots of followers, go onto their account and start following the people that are following them. Obviously they are following that account because they are interested in the niche.

Does repinning wrok in the same way as following in that its better to repin that just add your own pin due to the reciprocity principle that they will only follow you to return the favour of you repinning their stuff?

don't do it for all the re-pins you do or you'll get flagged quite fast, it's a good idea to do that, though do it only on 20-30% of the re-pins, even like this you can still get flagged if you piss off the wrong person( there are a lot of people with nothing to do that like flagging accounts :) ) .
You can also comment on pin and like other pins to attract attention to your account and get some more followers.

    Hi,

For what it's worth when I launch Pinterest accounts I prefer they are already kind of "up and running". Getting from 0-1000 followers is pretty much the hard part as far as my experience goes. I used to pin a lot then follow then pin, then follow etc etc - basically it needs to be manual work to get started. After that you can automate stuff but in the beginning the trick is to do it manually so it doesn't get you banned.

Of course, in keeping with being efficient, I found a guy in Asia who does this for me. He even targets the niches I specify (or even my competitor's boards - which is pretty sweet being able to snipe followers that way) - and then does the manual following and Pinning. Got lots of accounts from him, none banned (5 months and counting). His prices are cheap and he's from here on BHW... basically it saves me from doing the manual stuff that I hate. He makes good money, I get Pinterest accounts - everyone wins. PM me if you want his handle here.

    Something to think about

    XH

So XHA, how many pins / repins / followers would you suggest making in a day?

There's 100 million+ users on Pinterest bro, how the hell do you run out of people to follow? Try using different keywords/ find different users to scrape followers from and you should NEVER run out of people to follow. Cheers!
