I'm just wondering what tools/scripts/software everyone else uses to monitor their progress? I'm currently using market samurai, just wondering if there is anything better, a more dedicated application for creating SEO reports, checking SERP rankings/backlinks/etc. I've also got traffic travis, but prefer market samurai for the reporting/graph features.

using some free stuff is ok too..for example yahoo site explorer, alexa, google analytics + google webmaster and firefox add on rank checker..after all seo is part of marketing right? i mean it's about boosting the traffic by getting your website on the first page..so in order to get that, you have to monitor your backlink, your indexed page, your landing and exit page to the viewer and finally your gaypal or bank account maybe? :p to see if all this really converting.IMHO

record your site position on SE
    record your alexa
    record your index pages
    record your backlink
record your sales (if you sell something)

I do find Market Samurai comes in handy the most. I use all the different Google footprints and analytics. It's been paying off so far.

Do you have the full version? What are the limits in the free one?
Sounds very nice to me, especially cause I have a macbook and it would be great to have those tools on my mac instead of the virtual machine.

    Nice post...

At this moment I'm trying WebCEO, Traffic Travis, Market Samurai and SEO Power Suite from Link-Assistant.

WebCEO seems difficult to manage. Very expensive. I don't like it at all.
Traffic Travis, I love it, but I don't like the generated graphs. Also you can't customize your records with your colors, logo and so on.
Market Samurai has keywords tabs for each project and I am not really used to.
SEO Power Suite has different programs... I would prefer only one. And it is extremely expensive.

Any suggestions of different software similar to these, or even your choices will be really appreciated.

Don't really know If I finally will use Traffic Travis or Market Samurai. But I only want one. Any suggestions?

Market Samurai has all that you need, except for that fancy graphs which however you can export as excel sheet from MS and then make them fancy !!!

    I use SEO Studio.
Just throw in a list of keywords and a list of your domains and get a report on where each domain ranks on each keyword.
