We have 15+ employees in total.

Which would be the best option to monitor their complete activity on machines.
Including their browsing history.

Half of them are inhouse and half of them work from home. Is there any free option for this?
I was checking online but the options are bit costly per user per month they are charging.

Thanks in advance.

If I'm correct they mean their browsing history in their company programs.

So if something goes "poof"
You know who to blame

I'd not, issillegal

The in-house employees can be monitored with a tracking software like Teramind, ActivTrak, or TIme Doctor.

There isn't really free options for tracking people.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong though, but the idea seemed a bit far-fetched.

It's not a good idea to spy on your employees. find a better way to increase the quality of the works.

Why not?

A company pays a person to dedicate his time on his work, some 10-15 mins. of surfing here and there is ok but what if an employee is not completing his tasks?

Maybe, the OP has a doubt on someone?

Agreed. If you're paying someone for an online job on a consistent basis, wouldn't you want to know if your employees were messing around on your dime for 40% of the time you pay them for?

i did check the active track and time decor but felt like a bit costly for my purpose. Looking for some free or cheaper option or lifetime subscription kind of thing

I read somewhere that UpWork has the screen capture software to track hourly-paid freelancers. Why not go a similar route and search for something like that instead of snooping the whole browsing history. I did a quick google search and found hivedesk.com which has pretty reasonable pricing for 20 users.

@TheVigilante you understood the situation mate. It's not just we are paying we provided office space and systems in both offices as well as personal ( 2machines for each person ), i don't mind whatever the fuck they do with the gifted laptops provided but i am looking for an option for the machines provided for office purpose. I do have a contract with other members to handle these people so, i don't care about the privacy after all these benefits provided and still they want to play around by taking money from us that's not good business.

A programmer could make something that tracks the title of the current active window and stores it in a database per user ID.
That would be cheap.
You don't need to complicate things too much.

Timedoctor is just $10 per employee/month.. for all 15 thats $150. Now I dont know from which country you are, or how much you pay your employees, however even if you pay them $100, thats $1500 per month. If you increase their productivity by just 10%, you will not lose any money + the work will be done. No idea why you would want to go cheap on that and allow some shady free software on all your company machines...

I am going with activetrack. I was looking for some lifetime subscriptions instead of these monthly and yearly payments, but no luck.
