So as you know I do a lot of automation and tinkering with code.
Sometimes it actually works and has become really useful to me.
Now I want to market it and maybe sell it to others.
So I signed up for my 10Th $7 AHrefs trial, followed the videos, which are great btw.
But I keep coming up with 0 traffic keywords and or totally unrelated keywords.
What should I do ? How do I use similar keywords to rank my products ?
And how to you write about a really simple concept enough to get it ranked?

What is it you actually do? Sum it up in 1 sentence with a value proposition to me. :)

Define this one belief:

This new opportunity is the key to their desire and it’s only attainable through my new mechanism.

Now put your words into that framework. Then you have a value proposition and then you can start marketing it.

You should try doing KW research from the "solved problem" perspective, and look at other apps and software for commonly used keywords. Combined you should build a good picture of where the traffic should be.

Well its designed to stop excessive masturbation, although its hard to define what is deemed excessive.
Basically every time the software hears the term "Oh yeah, do me from behind big boy" in a southern trailer trash accent, or similar sentences.
It flashes a picture of Hilary Clinton naked, drenched in peanut butter looking stuff, straddling Willy Mandela's Face.
I find it amazingly effective, although I have had to add new pictures as I realized eventually my cognitive elephant was overruling the rider and I was nursing a semi.
I believe it may be a deep rooted fear of powerful women, sissying me whilst in a semi drug induced trance.
Anyway... buy it, try it.. money back guaranteed if you achieve wood.. or make it to the milk stroke! Only $4000 Ugandan dollar

Where can I buy it? Although I don't masturbate much now, only 15-16 times a day as now I am married.

I'm aiming at the hard core wankers, your merely stealth tossing when the missus is out shopping. :)

Does it solve a problem? Are there people who have this problem? The problem will suggest the keywords.

As someone already said, you should market from the perspective of the problem that gets solved with this innovative, unheard of product.

You can also market via competition keywords like:

X alternative - alternative to an existing solution, as people like to search for alternatives.
X comparison - create content that compares existing solutions, include yours in it as an editor's pick or w/e.
X vs Y - straight up comparing your products to competitor's.

You could do smear campaigns with catchy headlines or captions, Discord used to do this, look where they are now.
Trash your competition (politely and legally), while outlining the advantages your solution brings.

Imagine you make a dating app, then create posts for people pissed off at Tinder to introduce them to your alternative.

Also, another way is to market the product by putting it into tiny niches in your content.
You are marketing a productivity app for example, think of the target audience, and then add long tail keywords related to it.

Productivity app for busy pet owners
Productivity app for students studying remotely
Productivity app for stay at home moms that homeschool their children, etc.
Just think of ideas and dig up many long keywords that target small portions of your target consumers.

oh man, you should open a sales thread in bhw. I am pretty sure you will have good sales as all wankers would want to buy it.
