I would like to know how to set up wordpress so that I can use one theme and one domain name with multiple sub domains so that I can have different landing pages for tons of different niches? For example:

    http://www.mywebsite.com/weightloss
    http://www.mywebsite.com/fitness

    or

    http://www.weightloss.mywebsite.com
    http://www.fitness.mywebsite.com

I am not too sure if I am phrasing this correctly or if I even need to use sub domains for this. Pretty much I just want to use one theme and one website to host multiple landing pages for different niches. Any help would be much appreciated!

has the info you want. I suggest finding a theme that is focused on creating templates. I haven't done this but I have had themes that has had templates in them. You basically assign a template to page and so forth.

On CPanel go to subdomains, and create what you wish, then go to file manager and choose subdomain.domain.extension and put the files there, as you would with normal domain.

I suppose that's what you want

    Here's what you can do:
    1. create a folder on your host for each site you want to create.
    2. upload a fresh copy of WP into each folder.
    3. go to your admin panel on your web host and create the desired sub domains and point them to the corresponding folders.
    4. create a database for each WP instance.
    5. go through WP installation using the sub domain you created.

In this way you will have completely distinct sites for each sub domain.

Much easier way just create wordpress install on main public_html then create wildcard sybdomain in cpanel eg *.yourdomain.com then install wordpress plugin category to subdomain. I tried to post link but do not have enough post count

Create Sub Domains and upload the landing pages in the specific directory.
