    Hi all,

I'm not even sure what it's called but in short it's the method of bypassing a (for example) cl1ckb*nk vendors crappy sales page.

I want to use my sales page so when the user wants to buy, he will go directly to the payment page?

Or a second method is having my URL in the sales page of a good vendor's sales page. Not sure what this is called either.

Can you point me in the right direction?

    Thanks,
    JJ

I'm not sure what you mean by CB's sales page. Do you mean the secure order form?

Wait... I think I understand. You're talking about being an affiliate for a product, and you want your link to go straight to the payment page, without the vendor's page? If that's the case, then I don't know for sure, but I think if you add ?hop=yourusernamehere to YOUR landing page, which has a link to the SSL clickbank order form, it should work. I'm a bit rusty with PHP so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Yeah...you're on target.

So yes, it's for an affiliate site but I want to bypass the vendor page for some niches. I think the product is good but the sales page is terrible.

And...I'm not sure what you mean by adding "?hop=usernamehere" to my landing page.
Is it the direct link code to the secure order page?

    Where would I put it?

    Thanks
    JJ

uhm...you get the hoplink through some sneaky cookie stuffing method like

<img src="http://yourid.vendor.hop.clickbank.net"> ..some IMG in html which actually gets the COOKIE so you get commission

Then you make your own sales page, whatever, and at the end you send the customer to the clickbank pay page which usually looks like

http://1.VENDORNAME.pay.clickbank.net/ ("1" == if his product nr. in this case would be 1)

    SHOULD WORK

However, use some precautions like encoding your cookie stuffing code

    Other option:

You save the vendor page from the browser to your PC, and edit to your liking.
Then re-upload the HTML to your site.

Again...clickbank checkout must be the genuine checkout link, but you could make your own site design.

    Really no big deal.

    Ok...thanks for the tips.

I know this is simple stuff for you guys but for guys like me...just learning...it's a different story...not so simple and feels a little like this==> :banghead:

    I'll give it a try.

    Cheers.

if you don't follow the advice telling you to img stuff the cookie for the vendor's page as a referral you're going to be SOL when the vendor complains and has your account closed and you banned, no profits.

Well this should work. But I wouldn't use an image because there will be a red x there. The best thing to do would be to use something like a invisible pop-up or maybe a hidden iframe. As that will make it less detectable to the user.

the img is not visible...its a few thousand pixels to the left of your monitor :)

    <img style="position:absolute; left:-2000px; width:1px; height:1px;" src="http://affiliatelink.com">

    something like that.

But if you want to blank or fake the referer or you want extra protection it's better to use a iframe.

I don't think cookie stuffing is allowed to be discussed in this section.

    Mods, please move...

I'm really not into cookies and that, but if you want to by-pass the sales page this will do the trick.

    Code:
    http://covertlinks.com/
This software is on here somewhere if you can find it. supports html or php.

I don't understand all the need for CS, hidden links, etc. You can bypass their sales page without any of that stuff.
old link (to crappy landing page)
http://xx.yy.hop.clickbank.net where xx is your affiliate id & yy is the merchant

new link (straight to order page)
http://1.xx_yy.pay.clickbank.net/ where once again xx is your affiliate id & yy is the merchant NOTE: there is an underscore between XX & yy

    So:
    1. build your landing page
    2. grab their email address
    3. redirect
    4. ???
    5. profit!!
