Well I have ample time and wanna make money but I just can't stay focused.
I just do like some work or not even any and spend most of time thinking about how to make money. When I sit on the pc I just search games and stuff.

How do you guys spend continuous hours working and stay motivated and not get distracted?

Try setting some goals (e.g. I will write 5 articles by the end of the day, etc.) so you have a clear mission in mind.

Additionally, it helps if you have a clear plan of what you're doing. I used to find myself slacking off and messing around online, but that was when I didn't really have a solid plan. I had a few random projects going which I gave a half-assed effort. I found a thread on BHW detailing an SEO plan which I started following. Now that I had a definite blueprint of what I need to get done, I found it a lot easier to stay focused. Maybe try typing your goals out like a checklist?

Some people also find it helpful to imagine nice things they could have if they would buckle down and start making money... I've done this before: spending about two or three minutes looking at fancy cars and nice houses on Google images, then get back to work imagining that I'm working towards owning those things.

I still get distracted sometimes (here I am on BHW  when I came here for a specific question) but it's happening less and less. I think it's because I don't like to regress or take steps backwards. I've been working so hard since finding that SEO blueprint that to start slacking off makes me feel like I'm stopping something which is improving my income.

It was not easy for me in the beginning.
    But it's completely different now.

Once you start earn (decent) money you will have (probably) need to get up early every morning and start to work asap. You will not care about games, reading some s***t you can't use for anything etc.
You will become really focused just like that!

Best thing for me is to make goals. Now, not everything is about money, so I usually make few different goals for different projects.
If I want, for example, finish one project in next month I will do only that 80% of the time I spend in front of my computer, because I know I will feel much better when I finish my work. And, even better, I will jump around like crazy when I see money coming in.
(not really, but sounds good here)

Now, stop reading this thread. Take piece of paper and write down what do you want to accomplish in next 30 days.
    Be realistic.
Read that plan every day when you feel like you don't want to do anything.

Set a day when you won't have to do anything else. Take care of anything that you might want to use as an excuse not to work before that day. Eliminate all distractions- make it impossible to do anything other than work (except sleep, eat or shower). It's hard at first, because you're out of your comfort zone, which at first is a dark and lonely place. But after awhile the slime that used to be your comfort zone will recede, and be replaced by a new better stronger one.

Plan your time off and do your games or whatever fun stuff then. If you "plan" to work all the time you will never be able to stay on top of things. When you make your business goals break them up into small pieces that can be accomplished in 3 hour blocks. That's the way I do it anyway.

I guess it helps me a lot that my 9-5 job really sucks. Every bit of work I do on IM, I imagine it as digging an escape tunnel out of that horrible place. Every time I think about slacking off or taking a break, I ask myself, "do you want to be stuck in that place forever? Well then quit screwing off and get back to work!"

If a person's lack of motivation has become habitual like a drug addiction, extreme measures could be necessary.
