    Hi guys,

I used to hit the gym about 1 month ago. And as you might have guessed, I stopped.

I know the importance of discipline and how far it will take you in life. But I can't seem to do it, I just wanted to know how you guys discipline yourselves.

I want to go back to the gym, but I am so lazy it's unbelievable!

Okay, here's my secret. Since I know that my ASD brain requires me to live my life based on a routine, I simply incorporate, for example, my business into my routine; that way I can do what I need to do without complaining about it.

While you may not be like me, the point is to find out what works for you or think back to what motivated you to continue doing something in your past. Set up a reward system for yourself if you have to.

Gym it's a hard thing to do. What work for me is to pay an mensual membership, i don't like to pay for nothing so i go. Ahah.

When you wake up, gym it's the first thing you should thing about, an organise your day around it, seems crazy but it's the only way to see great resultat anyway. You need to eat 2/3/4 hours before, you need to eat clean, some proteine before and after. It's almost a life style, you don't need to go super crazy with it, but respect some basic.

You don't have to go to the GYM to stay in shape, you can try a different activity. Do something you love, otherwise you will quit every time.

I wake up everyday to my IRL cutout of Beiber, it's what keeps me motivated.

He's ripped which motivates me to go to the gym, and he's rich which motivates me with my online business endeavors.

The gym is great, the results keep me motivated. Diet can be a bit rough since I give up my favorite foods too stay lean but I have come to appreciate home cooked, non processed foods much more.

Why is his singlet shirt so brilliant white? It should be brown, stained, and torn. With holes.

I don't do just the gym. The gym is boring. I do Orange Theory (it's like Crossfit) and 5-mile walks.

I pay $100/month for Orange Theory, so it forces me to go or I know in the back of my mind that I'm wasting my money. The 5-mile walks are great for just going outside and thinking about things.

I also give myself a break and don't do it every day. I have a set schedule of Sat-Wed of doing either Orange Theory or a walk and then Thurs-Fri I let myself eat a cheeseburger and be lazy. I don't diet either. Fuck that noise. Dieting would just make me hate life.

It also helps that I told myself last October that I would do it and not quit, and I have not missed a day yet. So, when I start to feel lazy, I tell myself that I've been doing it for 6 months and haven't missed a day, so do I really want to break my record over just being lazy and not wanting to take an hour out of my day?

Also, the benefits are that I have a lot more energy in the morning, I sleep better, and I have lost weight and I'm finally seeing muscle. The hardest part is that you don't see rewards for working out for a while.

I train 5 days a week for 5 years. I can tell you this from my experience if you don't love to workout, you will fail and quit.
When I say love to workout, you need to love the pain, to brake your body everyday so it can become stronger.

Also lot of people quit after a short time as they thin they will have a ripped body in two months lol
You need to find a buddy to go together in the gym, this way you will have an obligation to go when you have a schedule.

Also most terrible example was the one with Justin B, he does not have a great body he is just a skinny jerk who thinks he has a great body lol

Maybe you can find a buddy to go with to the gym. Once you're at the gym, motivating each other is easier.

Discipline is often a trait learned through obedience.
Like most things in IM, this can be outsourced
