I've been looking through Clickbank products all morning. At first I started with stuff I was interested in. Then I started to expand to stuff I wasn't. Basically any product that I looked up in Google had some serious competition. I'm talking DA/PA over 50. Link profiles with solid backlinks. Great anchor text profiles. Just great looking stuff.

I went through a list of about 220 buyer keywords I got from nichehacks.com and the competition was just stupid ridiculous on every one.

How do you guys do it? How does anyone rank for Clickbank products. Seems impossible. What's the process you go through for selecting keywords and finding a specific niche to attack?

For those of you who are going to jump in and say Google isn't the only traffic source. I know that. However, that doesn't answer my questions.

Its possible if you go to not so crowded products , check some low gravity products, the people buy them also :)

Manov is actually on to something. Products with low grav sometimes do not have high competition. At best, they have medium competition. I am not talking about all of them, ones you will have to dig for. Just because the DA/PA is high, does not mean you cannot rank. I would suggest buying an aged domain, checking the backlinks on it before you buy it of course & make sure it is not blacklisted, and feed it content. Besides my backlink building, that is one of the main contributing factors in my ranking process.

I'd recommend you looking at Launch Jacking, there's a thread here covering it very well.

You've probably chosen the correct keywords, but just not the correct products.

If you're going to focus on potentially popular products, definitely use launch jacking. But you can still rank as normal for less popular keywords. They may not bring in as many sales, but you can focus on more keywords and less competition when you do that.

Tools required: Scrapebox and Market Samurai. (Both can be downloaded for free on this forum if you search)

1: Find product on CB in a niche with a decent product/Sales page. Enter a list of 10 niche keywords for that product into the Scrapebox keyword scraper. Scrape keywords.
2: Copy the list that is scraped to the left hand (transfer) side of scrapebox. Scrape keywords gain. This will give you a massive list of keywords to look at.
3: Copy list and paste into Market Samurai. Analyze keywords.
4: Use MS filters to filter anything with less than 100 searches a day or high competition etc. Open each KW in another tab (must be a $ keyword) and check SEO competition.
5: Once you have found 5 keywords you can easily rank for, build MNS or review site targeting those keywords and outsource backlinking - or familiarize yourself with SENukeXcr/TheBestSpinner and link tier video tutorials Matthew Woodward has done. (Search his name on here).
    6: Rinse and repeat.

Some of the people you are competing against may have SEO optimised authority websites. I haven't personally tried launch jacking (but I want to one of these days), but from what I understand it sounds like a solid method you should look into. With launch jacking, you're promoting an upcoming product that doesn't have much information on it available yet, so you have a time advantage over your future competitors. You can buy an exact match domain name, create the information, and rank #1 on Google for the keywords you want!
