    Hey guys,

I mainly do guest blogging for clients, and I'm finding it really difficult to get their posts onto sites lately, i'm starting to switch back to manual outreach since I'm just not getting the responses and results I used to.

Any ideas on ways to find sites to post on? I know all of the different footprints, just wondering if there are any services or things that people on here use.

Try to send email to site owner that you will write great article (that he provides keyword/topic) and if he could just post link to your site... Write good letter, gramatically correct and copy/paste it to many sites where you want to post link... 30% should answer positively if you are honest and provide quality content...

30%? That's amazing. I'm a native english speaker and I write for big sites but my success rate is lower than 10%

I guess I'll have to test around some more.

Of course, you are right. I do guest post service. So hard to get reply from site owners. You need to work smart to get their attention and post the content on their blog.

i am not an expert in this area but i have managed to get some really good links . when i find a blog where i want my link to be , i am gonna make sure i should be the first person to comment when they publish new content and i send them a email about how much i love reading their blog and i have couple of question regarding a blogpost they did back in the day . and when they reply (60 to 70% will reply) then i tell them you know what i myself have a blog in this niche and i have been doing this research on "MY MONEY KEYWORD" and would feel really honoured if it can be posted on your blog . (this has worked 5 out 12 time i have tried )

I left a reply to someone who asked almost same thing. There is a list with contributors on genuine sites AJAS. Well, most of them are journalists. You can try and contact them and see who is able to help you out. 1 from 10 is still good. Some of the sites are really good.

Check out buzz sumo. Nice service that scrapes articles et al.

ps manual outreach works. Consider a VA to help.

    Good luck,

I know this is an older post but I wanted to add that my success rate, when doing outreach for guest blogging ops, is bad -- less than 10% success so far. It's to the point that I'm doubting I'll keep doing it for a while. :(

In self-publishing we do a lot of guest blogging. There's a whole cottage industry for eBook blog tours.

I've done a few of those for promos, but what works best is emailing self-publishing sites I visit and comment on and ask them.
