Brain storm a bit and you will find plenty of niches
Mine come to me when I least expect it, sometimes in dreams
My problem is that I can't quite figure out what people want. Isn't most of the stuff available free on the internet anyways? Why would someone complete a survey to get my file?
Find a big niche and then find a niche within that niche with little competition.
Start with what you know.
What you know could be car stereos, or vaginal products.
Be open minded, and start with what you know. That's always a great start.
You can check out google trends as well.The best way is thinking.

or else.....imagine if you didn't
lubricants or petroleum jelly will not give you much music, nor indeed
will a stereo help with common vaginal infections j/k
is all about good keyword research.... also always have an eye open to "what's going on" is hard to explain... but you can find a lot of niches like that
Let's say I have knowledge in a certain niche. Let's call it "Dating" for now. So how can I combine this with CPA/PPD. What "file" should I give them? An ebook?
Try....just try to think outside of the box (your sentence is a fucking box)

I considered this route, but to be honest you arr just lying to people. You said it yourself, why would someone complete a survey to get a file that probably wont work.
Change your approach to providing a service that people DO want. Offer advice, do reviews, choose a product and go to town on it.
- Gaming laptops (choose 10, review them as if you own them then link to amazon)
- Food blenders (as above) my mum just spent over £400 on a blender...
You will also find you enjoy it more, as people thank you/ You will see more longevity in the website too.
Use you mind and imagine what people really want??? People will be more willing to complete a survey to get a product of $100 value than a product which they can find for free.
The key here is to use the content which do not exist in the real world.
Look, you can over think it until you're blue in the face, but until you actually get out there and just try some stuff, you'll never even create the opportunity to earn.
Sure, you might lose some money, but you'll gain an understanding. And through this understanding, you'll start to earn money. It's like my old boxing coach told me my first sparring match: "Don't stand there waiting to get hit."
I look for niches that are localized niches with average local searches per month of 200-400.
So the key is to create a product that sounds "too good to be true"?
This really depends on the method a person is doing. Some IM guys go for different niches in their website portfolio. I usually stick with a broad niche, and work my way up until I become an authority in that niche - by doing this, you can negotiate better payouts as an affiliate, or even set it yourself as every advertiser wants you as their affiliate.
