So I have a godaddy domain, however I haven't put the domain anywhere(on a domain selling site or similar) and got contacted by someone that wants to buy it, how do I proceed with selling it to him?

They send you the money and you forward the domain to them.

If you are going to sell it for a high amount, I would recommend you to use escrow.com to transfer the domain and protect you from fraud.

Also, check out the domaining forum namepros.com - there are many active domain sellers.
