I know the idea is usaully to get as high up on search rankings as you'd like, but what can you do to REMOVE yourself and website from search engines?

I have a private financial company that I really don't want people googling my company or my name and having my company pop up, what techniques can be used to keep my page looking and saying the same but getting OUT of the search results?

buy a 10 million link blast in the services section, then google will ban you from their search engine, along with other ones.

use the Noindex tag in your robots.txt file, it will tell the engines not to index any page you put there.. you can do it for folder and others too.

But he is already in Google!

You can either contact GOOGLE (with a chance of never ever getting an answer)
Or you can make sure your site gets banned.

I google searched but EVERYBODY just needs their site to be indexed, never heard somebody ask otherwise.

    make robots.txt and write:
    Disallow: /
also use noindex in every page of your site and google will denindex it soon or later

In addition to the other suggestions, you can also request removals in the Google Webmaster tools .
