how do you get HTML backlinks in doctoc

    ok so ive been trying to upload docs to docstoc.com for backlinks but all of my liks just show as the full text href.
    i know you can add html to docstoc as i see it all the time, one of my competitors for a new product im chasing down has a document up now with some html...i have tried uploading text and a pdf and non of it shows as a link...

    anybody know what im doing wrong??

    I think you're saying that you see links where the keyword is the anchor text, as opposed to the URL being the anchor text, right? If that's the case, are you sure that those links are actually active? I've seen PDFs that have both kinds of links, and only the ones where the full URL is also the anchor text are functional. (This is most likely due to the fact that most PDF generators do not preserve the links, but that's another topic altogether.)

    If you have an example of a d0cst0c document where someone has inserted HTML, it would help to see it.

    1.Copy from the web page you want to promote in firefox or IE OR create your document in Frontpage/Word etc & insert hyperlinks
    2.Paste into a word document
    3.Upload to dstoc

    The PREVIEW links will not work
    The Document page links DO work;)

    Yes I have done it...
    No of course I wont show you one of my pages

    So I am thinking.......

    Use an amazon plugin to create amazon pages.....
    Add some plr article
    Some banners etc

    = very cool DOWN LOADABLE "guide"
