How do you get Google ratings in serp results like the example below?
If you have wordpress you can use a plugin "gd star rating"
I don't unfortunately. Presumably there's a way to do it without a wordpress site?
Its called rich snippets, if your thinking about doing blackhat and faking them then be careful as Google have started to strip them out and slapping sites so if you cheat then go slow
You can use snippets for reviews, recipes and loads more
Thanks. No i'm not looking to fake reviews, i just want to learn how to do it as i think it will improve CTRs
star rating is very effective , these are very important to generated traffic for more information you can check this plymarketing.com/seo/how-to-get-a-star-rating-under-your-listing-in-the-google-search-results-even-with-no-reviews/ , bradleyspencer.com/2010/google-review-stars-in-search-results/
Thanks. That gives quite a it of info. I'm still not getting it though. By the sounds of it, i just need to put the following info into the page and it will give me the star rating:
<div itemprop="aggregateRating" itemscope=""
itemprop="ratingValue">4.5</span> stars - based on <span
itemprop="reviewCount">152</span> reviews </div>
What i don't understand though is how i actually get the reviews?
1. Customers rate your products (plugins or self made code)
2. You save that in your database
3. You put the rich snippets on your product page
4. GG crawls your page
5. You wait
6. You wait
7. Your SERP have stars
That's down to the relationship you have with your clients mate so you can either;
1; Cheat by using minuteworkers (or other) and pay $0.50 a review
2; Offer a reward to your real customers i.e discounts
3; Gamification rewards
4: Ask your friends and family (cheat)
Separate names with a comma.
