How do you do this to an ad in adwords?

    It seems like this is the new thing that ads that are in the top 3 have.

    My ads only have the title and my sites name. How do you get it to add the wording in the first line. Its over the amount of characters

    This feature was rolled out globally by Adwords after initial testing, as they do with all of their new features. The Display URL is now showed alongside the Title tag. The trick now is to make the Display URL text more relevant to the Ads, as this is what Searchers will see first It would also give them a preview of what the landing page would be like

    How do I make the display URL text change?

    You can't. Well, I guess you can but there's no "option". Google will show those ads (along with the other like maps sitelinks) to those with high relevency/quality score to whatever the current search query is. It'll basically move the first line into the header and the second line will remain as the description.

    You can't control this at all. It's all part of Google's testing of different things. This is just one of five different tests I've personally seen this year and I've heard of two more.
