    Hey guys,
After a few months of being away from IM, I decided to come back as money was scarce - I had to quit my job because of numerous health factors as well. Long story short, after 10 years of my family thinking that my sister just had a disease, it's actually turned out to be cancer.
My parents have gone into massive debt because of other family emergencies as well, I just wanted to get real people's view on how to handle this?
I just wanted to make it clear I'm not looking for sympathy or pity, I just want to know how other people cut through it all. IM just kills you when you're already depressed and not well, how do you guys keep yourself going?
I see angry customers emails because of delays but instead I just phase out and watch something, how can you keep yourself motivated?

I talk to people about my problem, seeking some other thoughts, maybe just like what you are doing, but it makes me feel that I'm not alone and proves to myself that this is just a small fraction of the whole picture.

    Vent to a close friend.

As for motivation. It has to come from within you. You can listen to music or read stuff that will temporarily motivates you, but in the end, the motivation comes from your own core self.

This is why I don't listen to music while working out anymore. I have my goals and when I train I am fully concentrated while lifting weights.

So the point I am making is that you have to use your family's situation as a motivation. You have to use it to fire you up. Only you can tell yourself that you are going to make it through this. Tell yourself that you will do your best, become successful, and help your sister out or show her a good time and help her by being positive. Your family can use a lot of your help, that itself is something to ignite the flame.

The rapper Drake's mom had an illness as well. She needed surgery or her life was becoming risky I believe. They couldn't afford it because it was a huge operation. That's why Drake became so successful. He got serious and down to business because of his mom. He wanted to give her everything she wanted, including the surgery.

That's going to be you. Keep saying that to yourself. Good luck.
