    Hey guys,
I wanted some help in checking a couple of expired domain names.

Everything from start till end :)

    Steps I know:
    Checking pa,da,tf,cf,moz rank
checking backlinks and the pages where those backlinks are added
    referring domains
History from archive (avoid any domain with chinese/russian/arabian etc pages )
Checking if hasn't been used as a pbn
    Ip addresses

    What else? :)
Also, it would be great if you guys could add some tips to simplify the steps mentioned above, for example, archive.org would have hundreds of pages crawled, do I need to check each of them?

    • Check if the domain has been penalized.
    • Check the domain for spam.
    • Avoid domains that 301 redirect.
To be safe, you have to go through each year block in archive.org and check each dates.

    • Thanks Thanks x 2

Don't worry about the metrics, they're all made up by third parties. If you want to use a metric use Ahrefs DR. Check the backlinks, make sure 50%+ are ********, make sure the referring domains and referring IP counts are similar. Make sure there haven't been a crap load of links recently deleted. Check the anchor ratio is decent. Then move onto the history of the site.

I only buy expired domains of previously non-commercial sites. That somewhat reduces the options but makes sure that it is has a clean and spam-free history

Shoot me a PM, I will give you some crucial tips that I would like to avoid sharing publicly. I also have a analysis thread in the Jr VIP section from a year or more ago, so check that as well. It's a bit outdated, but essentials are still the same.
