I used to type "&pws=0" at the end of the google address to turn off their personal web search, and give me the true rankings. However, that doesn't seem to work anymore as of the localization.

I know I'm not #1, but when I search-that's where I pop up. I assume because I'm searching from within the address of the business i'm trying to rank. No i'm not signed in.

How do you do this now?

    hidemyass.com
    startpage.com
    http://www.seoserp.com/google.page.rank.checker/

I use all three to check rankings. Hidemyass gives you a proxy, startpage is fully anonymous browsing, and SEO Serp is said to be the most accurate rank checker atm.

You can use scroogle.org, or seoserp, both free (though they seem to pull info from different data centers)

You could try SEScout. They give you daily keyword rank updates, alexa rank, and PR rank

If you use statcounter it will tell you what a visitor saw as your ranking when they clicked on your site.

I use Market Samurai to check bulk, but if I only want to check a few I'll use Scroogle.org like rose99.

If it's in the top 30 I sometimes use rankpay dot com to check as well.

Very cool, but.... This sounds like it could be playing with fire... it could be possible that G would be able to catch onto you if you abuse this too much. I would use with care.

Stay well clear of se scout.. DO NOT USE

There a bullshit organisation that claim they can get hourly updates, all they do is overhype what they cant provide..
They cant even do a daily update on the god dam keywords.. 10 keywords for free option but if u paid like some suckers u get ripped off.

HIGHLY NOT recommended until they get their act together !!!

I use Stacounter and am very happy with it. I really like that I am able to give my client their own login for their site and yet keep it in my own account as well.

My clients are also very happy with it. It has an easy to read layout and option to export results easily to Excel. Great options to view where the traffic came from, the browser they used, their location and even what they entered into google to find you.

For HTML sites it is a breeze to install. for CMS sites it is even easier, just add their code to your template and every page is tracked separately.

Overall I am very happy with statcounter and would recommend it.
