    hi,

so recently i got banned from amazon for selling bad items from china. so i tried to open a new account and they instantly ban me again. so then i then lead to believe it was the IP they tracked me with so now i open a new one on another IP address where i use my phone to go online by which creates a new IP address. I also used a completely different browser. And i still got banned.

any ideas how they can detect me? i dont think they can detect me via my MAC ID on my modem can they?

Flash Cookies, because most people don't know they exist and browsers dont delete them when you delete temporary files etc.

Use Ccleaner to clear all the temp files, flash cookies, etc. that can get you traced.

You would of been linked on your phone some how. Either your phone is connected to the same wifi as your banned account, or you have logged in previously on your phone. There WILL be some sort of connection

Did you use the same card details? Google offer vouchers for adwords account but it is one voucher application per account. They can tell by marrying it up against the card number used for payment on that account.
My guess is they got you through this, although if you did connect your phone through your home wifi it would probably have had exactly the same ip address.

Be interested to know more about this javascript though that can grab the MAC how widespread is its use and is it not bordering on the various data protection laws we have around the world?

lol amazon uses flash cookies (LSO) 100%

    thats how you got caught.

After dealing with amazon. I pretty much believe they have a good lockdown on tracking account issues and would say even better than Paypal.

Delete Flash cookies, Cookies, HTML5 storage, Silverlight isolated storage. To simplify use CCleaner. I would setup multiple virtualizations per account through VMWare, keep note of ALL the IP addresses you log in what with. Different addresses and phone (common sense).

Java app's runing in a website CAN get your mac. While JavaScript is a different kind of beast, without exploit in the browser, it won't expose mac.

Visit http://samy.pl/evercookie/ it explains and shows most of the tracking technologies available today.

If you get past ever-cookie you have very good chances of getting past amazon's security.
