I'm confused. How are there people advertising on youtube with copyrighted music videos and getting away with it?

When I uploaded my first music video and got like 500 ratings and comments, then it got removed for copyright.

So how does that make sense? There's tons of people doing it.

Moving this to the youtube section. The feedback & suggestions forum is for posting about forum improvements & suggestions...

if it gets removed for a copyright violation, it will tell you if was removed due to 'Copyright Violation" if it was flagged its just 'This video is no longer available'... so you got removed for a copyright violation. I have noticed YouTube really cracking down on some of these videos. I say try a different artists perhaps, I dont use music in my videos so I cant really help you there. But I have been noticing this happening more and more. Sorry bro, dont give up though.

I don't know why you're talking about the reason for it got removed. I've already said it got removed for copyright, but my question is HOW are everyone else doing it? I've seen countless people doing it with the same music videos (I've ripped some videos off them), but mine got removed for copyright??

Other people who are in that niche flagging your videos, they don't want competition - youtube will only remove stuff when flagged or reported by a company.

So just try a different niche there is competition there already.
