How do search engines feel about stock images and videos?

Hey guys,

If I use images and videos from Stock Unlimited, Freepik, Story Blocks, Envato, etc - How does this affect my rankings?

I usually pick ones on Shutterstock that are labeled as 'not commonly used', just to prevent using the same image as thousands of other websites.

Maybe not even a problem to have the same images, but better to be safe than sorry.

Step 1: Find 4k youtube video about your topic
Step 2: take screenshot
Step 3: Crop it
Step 4: Flip it

In regards to images, just make your alt text relevant to the picture and post.

I always change the filename too, especially if it's just a string of random numbers / letters.
