Is it term called paid to click where you get paid to click on other peoples ads? From what I know there is no money to be made in this, but rather something called PPC.

I don't know anything about PPC, all I know is that you have to test by obtaining ads to be seen by people and then pay whenever someone clicks on the ad.. Which is risky in my opinion if the ad does not convert, so I am wondering now how people take advantage of PPC ads.

The first concern that I want answers to is, what is the process to get paid when people click on ads? Basically, I want to be paid some money when traffic clicks on my ad. Nothing more, just click and get paid. What is this called?

Reason I ask is because some time ago I read people click on their own google adsense ads and get paid. Which I don't understand because don't they have to pay every time someone clicks? CPC?
    Any answers is helpful, thanks

    Let's get to definitions first.

PPC (pay per click) is a form of advertising. As you said, an advertiser puts up ads and pay only when someone clicks the ad. This in contrast to paying whenever your ad is shown, whether anyone clicks on it or not.

You mention the risk. Well, not advertising means you get no traffic so you won't make sales. You also said "if the ad doesn't convert". To nitpick, it's not the ad that converts, it's your landing page. A little ad is not going to make the sale. That's not its purpose. Its purpose is to get people on your site where you try to convince them to buy your product. Its two sides of a coin: the first is to attract, the second to close the sale. Doing the first part very well does not guarantee success, especially if you do the second part poorly.

As for getting paid to click ads, the ad networks have ways to counteract this. It is also against TOS to click ads on your own site not to mention immoral and wrong. Think about the advertiser from whom you are effectively stealing from. The ad networks can also detect this sort of thing so it's not worth the trouble.

In short, not a good idea to answer any "get paid to click ads" offers. These are commonly knows as PTC, paid to click, although there may be other terms.

Where can I find traffic that clicks on ads.
Are banners and ads supposed to make a site look better for network approval or can I find a organic or paid method
