They boost you in the FIVERR search if you have a NEW gig with video. If your niche ISN'T competitive then you will get a lot of natural Google traffic after 2-4 weeks. After your initial gig boost, the traffic you will get is almost random. Outside of the random Fiverr algorithm, you need to maintain a 100% rating, gig video, and offer a better deal than your competitors and the buyers will come to you. If your gig is too competitive to show up on the first page of Google, you need to drive traffic yourself to supplement the random Fiverr traffic.

The idea inside of Fiverr is that they help you out at the start of a gig and they help out top rated sellers. So the idea is if your gig is good enough you will become a top rated seller. Pretty flawed thinking IMO. Outside of that you'll get random Fiverr traffic IF your gig is solid and doesn't look unprofessional. After the boost they expect you to promote it yourself if you aren't happy with the random Fiverr traffic.

To be honest I don't think they even know how its sorted lmao.

I think its safe to say that some buyer click on the 'new sellers' tab and they find you in that way.

I know when i need average content fast I will always go to the new sellers because they are keen for the ratings and will do it quickly to impress.

I think you might be right aobut it mianly being because the gigs are new cos i had an old suspended gig and decided to change the title and desc totally just because it has a pic of the gig im doing but the actual gig is totally different i just happend to want to use the pic and forgot where i saved it on my comp. and that one hasnt seen any traffic yet sinc ei made it active again, then it was only last night i reactivated :p but im not too hopeful.

Your best strategy is to create as many gigs as possible. Change the picture, do some A/B testing and see what works. The more you have the better your chances are.

I do realise fiverr is so saturated and very difficult for new gigs to get anywhere.
