I have a Wordpress blog that is separate from my company site. On the blog, I am planning to add get people to sign up to the company website. Is there a way I can track how many people who signed up to the company website came from the blog?

I've already searched this on Google but search results show how to do this through Google Analytics - GA only tracks clicks, not successful sign ups. (Or am I wrong??)

    Sorry so noob.

I think it all depends on your sign up/mailing system. If you use MailChimp for example, you will be able to track those sign up including their countries.

Create a custom landing page from blog to business webpage , use mailing provider to create a new link to keep track.

So it's different from normal sign up

Google Analytics tracks not only clicks, but also count visits to specific pages. You can redirect visitors after successful subscription to that page and track them.
