If I want to advertise my site in a public building how do I track where my customers are coming from? This would be so now how many sales come from the ad in the building so I can give the owner of the building a percent of the profits.

I would also have traffic coming in from other routes -online etc.- so I would need to track them somehow.

    Thanks,

The simplest way to do this would be to make a page like www.yoursite.com/building, and incentivize it like with a giveaway so they would have to go there.

Another idea would be to have a poll on the homepage that asks people where they came from, and hope they fill it out.
