Okay so i got a forum. Recently its ben getting a lot of spam threads and fake posts/accounts. trouble is that I ban the user/IP and delete the posts but they keep coming back from behind new Ips and another fake username. Forum members are starting to get annoyed. is there anything I can do to stop them from making all those fake posts and threads in the first place? I need suggestions as its my first time ever running a forum.

    Thanks ahead guys

Yeah, this is the best way to go. Post a captcha system that makes them only able to post by putting in that code before it will submit. If your users have something that is important enough to say, they won't care about the extra few letters. It is common practice these days to prevent this issue.
