i dont mean google suggest i mean the otehr one which rememebrs what you searched for and gives a similar drop down box but not of commonly searched searches by the mass population but rather the searches you have made.

i dont want it logging my previous ones so how do i turn it off? (in firefox btw).

Right click in search box and uncheck SHOW suggestions.
imo

But maybe an obvious question: Regardless of what "mode" you go into, doG have the power to know everything about your browsing?

Of course they do... they log every search made by every user (signed in, or not.)

Surely, don't search when logged into a G account. Don't put all your major keywords into one adwords account, and certainly don't do searches while logged into adwords.

*/cruise control activated {common sense module}*

GOOGLE CHROME ALLOWS GOOGLE TO TRACK EVERY SINGLE THING YOU DO. THERE IS NO COGNITO MODE TO HIDE FROM GOOGLE.

*/cruise control deactivated {common sense module still active}*

NEVER USE ANY TOOLBARS, except roboform. Really, convenience? You think anything that turns a profit is really trying to give you easy access, for free, without getting something from you? No one rides for free.

What is this, Internet Tutorial 98?
