    Hey, so today I switched theme to "fantastic", and I edited the html with the following code
    Code:
    #navbar-iframe {
       display:
     none !important;
    }

    #Attribution1 {
    display: none;
    }
    #blog-pager {
    display:none;
    }
    .feed-links {
    display:none;

    }

    as I have done before to remove the footer and other stuff that looks bad.
    However for some reason, it didn't worked this time, but left a white bar at the bottom that looks extremely unprofessional.

    Anybody know how I can remove it please?

    The code used to work, now I can see that it only removed the "powered by blogger" words, but not the actual box.

    can you just do widget id='Attribution1' locked='false' and remove the attribution element.

    That code just hides the attribution from displaying but does not remove it.

    I think you could edit the HTML code of the template, search for the Attribution widget and set the 'locked' value to 'false'. It should look something like this afterwards
    Code:
    <b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='false' title='AttributionBox' type='Attribution'>

    Then go back to the Layout section and the Attribution part should now be editable so you can easily remove the whole box.

    Btw, I'm not sure if this violates their rules, but anyway..

    Find this code: change the default and the value to transparent.
    http://asterisk12.blogspot.com is this what you want it to be?

    Thanks this worked somehow, there is just a little small box left in the bottom right.
    This is not a big issue, and I think it's mainly a template problem.
    You've been great help

    Why not use Firebug or some developer tool and check where that's coming from, then edit that in the CSS or wherever that part corresponds

    Just replied to the same question in black hat seo section :D anyway Find the words in theme editor and remove it or find the class / id name of the footer tag and make the visibility hidden in style.css
