    Hi All,

I have tried searching for the answer on Google but not found any up to date information.

I'm not new to SEO or ranking high comp. keywords but only have experience targeting English speaking countries.

I'm looking to venture out in to the high paying CPA offers for countries such as France, Germany and Switzerland.

What really works in 2016 (apart from content written in the language)?

Does country specific domain extension, local hosting, local backlinks have any effect?

Buddy, generally speaking the algorithm is the same for every Google version out there. So what works on Google.com works in Google.de etc. too.

It's the same in all search engines :-1 = See what competitions do2 = Do better In foreign languages it tends to be a lot easier to rank because the less competition.

since this is the white hat forum, I guess me suggesting PBN links from foreign domains in your niche is not an option.

. So if that is the case I would do one of the two, I would begin finding relevant back links by searching in Google for signatures for your niche within the country specified and begin commenting. I would also contact owners of the different blogs trying to get your page linked to.. Also, you may want to consider opening a new domain with the extension of the country you want it ranked for.
