How do I multiquote?

I pressed the multiquote and all it did was highlight.

Then I pressed reply, it gave me a blank reply screen.

So I tried clicking the multiquote buttons again and then clicked one of the quote buttons and all I got was the quote of the quote button i pressed.

I am having exactly the same problem. Multiquote button gets highlighted, but that's it. I know how to multiquote on Vbulletin (did it about 10 thousand times on DP) but for some reason it doesn't work for me here.
