my problem isn't the links that i put in - its the links that are hidden in the wordpress them below the footer and the footer itself.

is there anyway to make the whole blog no follow?

Use this code when you place a link in context.

    <a href=http://www.example.com/ rel="nofollow" >your text here</a>

Keep all your side bar links to your internal pages only.

You will have to dig into the theme code for this. If the link is in the footer then its probably in the footer file under appearance then editor then you will find the footer code on the right hand side. Somewhere in that code is your links. Some themes have a function to not work when you take that link out. I have spent hours going in circles messing up my code and reinstalling to start over again with this stuff. So you might need to find someone who understands the coding well and have them look at it. Sorry I wasn't of more help.

ya i did that thank you but it won't budge - the code in the editor changes but the links in the blog itself stay the same :( . not only that below the footer there is a link that i really want to get rid of but i can't find it anywhere.
so i was hoping there is a way to make the site no follow . its only a sub blog to my main p[age.

Easiest way would be to contact the theme author and strike a deal.
