With all the crazy things going on in the world, especially with the governments breaking the law and invading our privacies, who really knows what website we can trust with our personal information (google, facebook, etc etc) I want to make my computer completely ghost, does anyone have any idea on how to do this or know of any powerful and legit programs to use to accomplish complete "ghost mode"... Not sure if it matters but the computer I want to "GHOST" is the a new apple laptop retina display. Please help! Thank you!

You first need to know what you are protecting yourself from. You should also realize all these protections are quite capable of altering your surfing experience.

    Perhaps you should study:
    Different sorts of proxies
    VPN/VPS
Using Linux instead of windows (Ubuntu, Mint, etc)
    Browser fingerprinting
    Computer fingerprinting
User fingerprinting (the way you "say" things online)
    Ghostery, NoScript
    Supercookies (Flash)
    Cookies
    Sandboxy/VirtualBox

See ya in a week or two. And yes you can ask about these things but you will not understand it till you study....

For instance, why is this site informative? Why does it change if you turn off JavaScript? Knowing you can do the same in php, how does this affect your privacy?

Not the answer you were looking for but still a good one I think.
Some advise: Do not trust one-size-fits-all solutions. And don't be a ghost. Ghosts get reported when seen, serial killers are often the friendly guys next door that greet you in the morning. ;)
